No advertising cookies

TickHeat does not use advertising cookies. The site and the app do not run an ad network, and they do not load a separate analytics product. There is no advertising profile.

This website

tickheat.com is a static site. It does not set its own cookies. It does not have accounts, and it does not ask you to type an email address. The host that serves the pages may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address and the page requested, to operate and secure the site. That is the same note as on the privacy page. Those logs are not an advertising cookie.

Sign-in cookies

The app at tickheat.app can sign you in with an email code. There is no password. When you are signed in, the account system keeps that session in cookies on tickheat.app. The cookies are there so you stay signed in as you move between pages. They are essential for the session. They are not used to advertise to you.

A guest can use the app without those cookies. Guest boards stay in this browser, described below, instead of on an account.

Stripe

Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Checkout and the billing portal open on Stripe. Card details are entered there. Stripe may set its own cookies on Stripe’s pages while you pay or manage a plan. TickHeat does not put your card number in a cookie, and the app does not embed a card form.

Local storage, not cookies

The app saves some things in the browser’s local storage. That is not a cookie, but it stays on the device, so it belongs on this page.

If the board is only in this browser, clearing site data removes it. A board saved to an account is stored with that account and can be opened again after you sign in.

The app also uses session storage for a single value so an open tab can reload once after a new version is deployed. It lasts for that tab. It is not shared and it is not an advertising cookie.

Font request

The app loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. That is a font request from the app, not an advertising cookie set by TickHeat. This marketing site serves its own font files and does not make that request.

How to manage them

Use your browser’s site settings or privacy controls to block or delete cookies, and to clear site data. Clearing site data for tickheat.app removes the local storage above and signs you out. The steps differ by browser. Look for cookies, site data, or “clear browsing data” in the browser’s settings, then limit it to tickheat.com or tickheat.app if you do not want to clear other sites.

Blocking the sign-in cookies means the app cannot keep you signed in. Blocking local storage means a guest board will not be there the next time you open the app.
