This page covers tickheat.com, the marketing site, and tickheat.app, the app. It is written in plain language.

This website

tickheat.com is a static site. It does not have accounts, and it does not ask you to type an email address. It does not run an advertising cookie. The host that serves the pages may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address and the page requested, to operate and secure the site.

“Notify me” on the apps page sends you to sign-in on tickheat.app. This website does not store a separate waitlist.

The app

The app at tickheat.app can create an account from your email. Sign-in is a code sent to that address. There is no password to store. Boards you save to an account are stored so you can open them again. A guest can also keep boards in the browser without an account.

Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe, not typed into a TickHeat page for us to keep. We receive subscription status, such as whether a plan is active, so the app can unlock the features of that plan.

If you turn on alerts, the app uses the address or push channel you chose to deliver them. The Today recap email, on Pro, is sent to the account email.

Widgets

An embedded widget loads from tickheat.app inside a frame on someone else’s site. The frame follows the same app rules. The site that embeds it does not receive your TickHeat password, because there isn’t one, and it does not receive your card details.

What we don’t do

TickHeat does not sell personal information. The product is not directed at children.

Questions

Use the account page in the app if you need to see the email on the account or manage billing. This marketing site has no separate inbox form.
